Expanding upon their ongoing collaboration, WILDSIDE Yohji Yamamoto and NEEDLES have come together to reinterpret NEEDLES’ classic Cowboy jacket and pants.
The Cowboy jacket features a snap button placket and traditional piping details from the American Southwest. In true Yohji style, the jacket is offered in stark black with a red embroidered NEEDLES butterfly logo on the breast and a composition of butterflies and roses on the back. For a sleek addition, black leather details accentuate the waist pockets.
Matching the jacket, the black pants are flared in Western style with similar piping down the sides of the legs and the embroidered butterfly-rose motif appears where NEEDLES’ logo is usually found on the left leg. Made of thick polyester, the collection boasts the signature comfort of NEEDLES’ classic sets, and a drawstring waistband adds a casual touch to the number.
The capsule extends a growing line of collaborative items from the partners, including an early 2024 release that included a tracksuit set and blaze, both featuring the familiar red rose and butterfly graphic.
The latest collection from WILDSIDE Yohji Yamamoto x NEEDLES will be released on January 22 on the WILDSIDE online shop, as well as WILDSIDE’s Osaka and Harajuku stores, and Hankyu Men’s Tokyo Yohji Yamamoto.
